DADE CITY – Pasco Wrestling coach Mark DeAugustino has held The Tuff Team Tournament every year since his first year at the school 19 years ago. Coach “D” brings six schools from Pasco and surrounding Counties together for an end of season competition that has become a tradition at Pasco high school.

This year’s teams were Pasco, Zephyrhills, Gulf, Mulberry, Fivay, and Bartow. It was a three-mat competition with all schools wrestling each other. The winner is determined by the most number of points accumulated over all five matches.

Pasco and Zephyrhills began the day against each other with the Pirates coming out on top 65-18.

Coach “D” said it is because of the support of RTD Construction that his young team is “able to function”.
