HUDSON – Each year the Fellowship of Christian Athletes puts on All-Star games for the High Schools in Pasco County, to give the senior stars one more opportunity to shine. The games are held in December for Football and in May for Baseball and now Softball as well.

Saturday marked the second annual Baseball All-Star Contest and the inaugural Softball game between the Stars of the West from Bishop McLaughlin, Fivay, Gulf, Hudson, Mitchell, Ridgewood and River Ridge and the East all-stars from Land O’ Lakes, Pasco, Sunlake, Wesley Chapel, Wiregrass Ranch and Zephyrhills.

The Baseball contest went to the East 9-2 with a steady production of runs throughout the contest. The West was without the services of the Mitchell stars who are still engaged in the FHSAA State playoff series.
