HUDSON — The Fivay Falcons (3-3) suffered another loss this week. This time, at home against the Wesley Chapel Wildcats (3-3) with a final score of 10-14.

The Falcons and their fans showed up Friday night with passion. Fivay ran the ball during the first, but the Wildcats’ defense held them tight. The Falcons could only kick in a field goal.

Wesley Chapel had some scoring opportunities, but Fivay shut them down in the red zone.

The first half ended 3-0, Fivay.

The Falcons scored their first and only TD in the third after a couple rushing plays.

The Wildcats seemed on repeat with turnovers until they blocked Fivay’s punt. This allowed Wesley Chapel’s tight end, #85 Steven Mira, to score off of a 25-yard return.

The Wildcats made a passing touchdown in the fourth. The Falcons could not run the ball in, turning the advantage to Wesley Chapel for the win.

Up next: Fivay will defend their turf against the Freedom High Patriots (1-5). Wesley Chapel will play home against the River Ridge Royal Knights (4-2).
