HUDSON — The Fivay Falcons (3-1) relied on rushing attempts to win their homecoming game against the Anclote Sharks (2-3) with a final score of 45-17.

Though both teams saw a scoreless first quarter, the field saw a lot of movement for the rest of the game. Bryan Hair, Fivay’s quarterback, completed seven passes. The Falcons scored six total touchdowns, all of them rushing.

Nazavious Williams, Fivay running back, rushed 205 yards and made Anclote work hard to keep up with him. Williams has rushed for a total of 369 yards this season, gaining momentum each game.

The Sharks snuck in a few touchdowns during the game, keeping the Falcons’ defensive line on their toes. Though gaining some ground in the second and third quarters, Anclote watched as Fivay rushed in three more touchdowns.

Fivay will have their hands full when they face the Gaither Cowboys (4-0) in Tampa next Friday.

The Sharks will defend their turf next week against the Wesley Chapel Wildcats (1-3).
