LAND O’ LAKES— The Wesley Chapel Wildcats came to the Swamp Tuesday night and were ambushed by Land O’ Lakes.

In the bottom of the second a Josh Wollerman walk to Patrick Groark started the Gator charge after a Wildcat error and a pass ball allowed Groark to open the scoring. Kaleb Jimenez would tack one on with an Isaac Chernin sacrifice to Wesley Chapel Shortstop AJ Pabon.

A Wollerman single in the top of the third got the Wildcats to within a run but the Gators stacked on three more by the end of the fourth inning.

Leading 4-1 in the bottom of the sixth, Land O’ Lakes added the exclamation point with a 4-run sixth on single by Dakota Harris and four walks given up by Wesley Chapel pitchers. The Wildcats gave up 12 free passes over the six innings along with three errors to hand the Gators the 9-2 win.
